Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park is located at 20237 Kennedy Rd, Sharon, ON L0G 1V0

Just 30 minutes North-East of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.


  1. Office & Store Hours:
    10 a.m. to 6 p.m. everyday
    9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday & Saturday

  2.     (Victoria day through Labour day only)


Closed: New Year’s Day (Jan. 1), Family Day (3rd Monday in Feb.), Good Friday (Friday before Easter), Thanksgiving Day (2nd Monday in Oct.),  Christmas Eve (Dec. 24), Christmas Day (Dec. 25) and Boxing Day (Dec. 26).

(Facilities are always open to members using their key fob)

Directions From Highway 401 in Toronto.

  1. 1.Go North on Highway 404, which ends at Green Lane. Note: For a variety of logistical and political reasons, the government signs direct you to exit earlier at Mulock Dr./Vivian Rd. This will also work but is slightly slower.

  2. 2.At Green Lane, turn right (East) - Go 300 yards to the first set of stop lights. (Woodbine Ave) (About a 20 minute drive)

  3. 3.Turn left on to Woodbine Ave. Go North to the first set of stop lights. (Mount Albert Rd.)

  4. 4.Turn right (East) on to Mount Albert Rd. Go about 5 km to Kennedy Rd.

  5. 5.Turn left (North) on to Kennedy Rd. Go about 3 km - Look for a sign on the right (East) side of the road.

  6. 6.Total driving time from 401/404 – About 30 minutes.


If you are coming from the North West.

  1. 1.From the intersection of Hwy 400 and Hwy 88, go east for 14km, through Bradford, to the intersection of Yonge Street (Reg.Rd.1) and Green Lane (Reg.Rd.19).

  2. 2.Turn left on Green Lane and go 4km to Woodbine Ave.

  3. 3.Turn left on to Woodbine Ave. Go North to the first set of stop lights. (Mount Albert Rd.)

  4. 4.Turn right (East) on to Mount Albert Rd. Go about 5 km to Kennedy Rd.

  5. 5.Turn left (North) on to Kennedy Rd. Go about 3 km - Look for a sign on the right (East) side of the road.


Using Public Transit

While this is possible, it is certainly not ideal. Public transit is the environmentally-friendly way to go. Unfortunately, public transit in rural areas is difficult to maintain.

York Region Transit runs a bus (Route 58A) from Newmarket that goes along Mt. Albert Road. There is a stop at Kennedy Road. From there, it is approximately a 3 km walk north on Kennedy to the gate of the park. Click here for more details or call 905.762.2100 (toll-free: 1-866-668-3978)
