We replaced the heater element once again but with a better version this time. It has been running non-stop since last Friday night. It seems that the last element may have been destroyed when someone pushed the 䴝boost䴜 button on the salt chlorination unit. When that button is pressed, the system goes into overdrive. Usually it only runs for minutes but this time it ran overnight before it was noticed. By that time, the water was at such a highly corrosive level that we couldn䴜t even read it. We immediately neutralized it and then dumped and replaced the water. However, it seems that the damage had been done. That won䴜t happen again as the controllers have now been enclosed in a locked cabinet. Enjoy the hot tub!
