In order to be more efficient, we will be closing the office and restaurant on Mondays and Tuesdays starting on November 3rd and until the end of March. We have noticed that those days have extremely few visitors during that time of year so closing the office will allow the team members to focus on other tasks. This means that we will not be able to accept any deliveries on those days. Today we are releasing the Naturist Colouring Book as part of an ongoing campaign to promote the benefits of naturism for youth and to encourage families to explore naturism together. The 20-page book features black & white cartoons by naturist illustrators Grace Crowley from Australia and Reinder Dijkhuis from the Netherlands. The images are of naturist families in typical settings. Each year we experience an increase in visitors. A couple of years ago we built a new parking lot for those busy days. We made it bigger than what we thought we needed in order to accommodate future growth. Much to our surprise, we already filled it twice this year. With the increased attendance has come greater water consumption. We realized last year that we needed to boost treatment capacity to replenish the two 20,000-liter cisterns after the morning and evening rush. In the last decade, online ordering has exploded. What use to be an occasional task has become a daily tsunami of trucks, delivery people, and packages. (this image is just one day's worth of packages) So effective June 1st, we will be charging $5 per delivery. ($2 for those with a mailbox) Some exceptions will be made upon request for people disabilities. Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park is a place where people come for leisure.
