France Guillain, the author of Le Bonheur d’être nu. Le Naturisme, un art de vivre. (The pleasure of being nude. Naturism, an art of living.) will be doing a seminar on healthy living at Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park on Sunday at 3 pm. (Free for members. Guests must register and pay day fees.) Bare Oaks is one of only two stops France is making while visiting Canada from Paris, France.

France Guillain has written many books on naturist health that have sold millions of copies throughout Europe. She has also shared her knowledge and experience through hundreds of articles, radio interviews and televisions shows. She currently teaches healthy living at conferences, seminars and through naturist retreats.

Born in Polynesia, Guillain was raised in a simple life. She left the island to study on a scholarship. Since then, she has never stopped learning; amassing in the process multiple degrees in science, math and philosophy. She is also the author of several studies. The mother of 5 children, she sailed the world for 17 years with her children. She lived for long periods in China, the Philippines, Mexico, the USA, in the Balearic Islands and the Galapagos.

This lifestyle compelled her to turn to nature for simple yet effective healing methods to safeguard and optimize her personal and her family’s health.
