Today we are releasing the Naturist Colouring Book as part of an ongoing campaign to promote the benefits of naturism for youth and to encourage families to explore naturism together. The 20-page book features black & white cartoons by naturist illustrators Grace Crowley from Australia and Reinder Dijkhuis from the Netherlands. The images are of naturist families in typical settings.
As you may have noticed, we have been answering questions and addressing misconceptions about children in naturism since June with videos on Bare Oaks’ social media. This book is just another part of our campaign to promote the benefits of growing up in a naturist world. More than ever, children need naturism as an antidote to the body-shaming, objectification, and hypersexualization of social media and general societal attitudes. Several recent studies have shown that the average age of seeing pornography is now around 12. As a result, children are going through puberty with a warped sense of what their body is for and what it should look like.
The colouring book is available in the Bare Boutique at Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park for $4.95 or $6.95 with Crayola “Colors of the World” skin tone crayons which we recommend. (plus tax) It is also available for online ordering at BareBoutique.ca. But the crayons are not available online as they can be purchased more cost-effectively locally due to shipping costs.
