On March 23rd the Ontario Government ordered all non-essential businesses to close for 14 days. That order was extended into May and could be extended again. The good news is that we have “flattened the curve” and things seem to be under control. The government has announced that they have a 3 stage plan to allow businesses to reopen. The Government of Ontario has ordered all non essential businesses to close. So effective immediately, Bare Oaks is closed to visitors. The restaurant is already closed. The office and store will now be closed as well. During our posted business hours, we will still be answering phones, responding to emails, as well as accepting packages & deliveries. Members who have a campsite can still get through the gate to access their trailer. We have had several people inquire about whether we going to close. We are open and planning on staying open. Our wide open spaces are great if you want to get away from people. For those who have a trailer here, it might be the ideal place to isolate yourself for a bit. We have taken precautions to reduce the risk of spreading the infection: We have always cleaned the public areas regularly.
