Each year we experience an increase in visitors. A couple of years ago we built a new parking lot for those busy days. We made it bigger than what we thought we needed in order to accommodate future growth. Much to our surprise, we already filled it twice this year. With the increased attendance has come greater water consumption. We realized last year that we needed to boost treatment capacity to replenish the two 20,000-liter cisterns after the morning and evening rush. We approved an estimate from a supplier last fall but they did not actually do the work until last week. We apologize for the 3 days earlier in the summer when we temporarily ran out of potable water. Now that the work has been done, we should be able to keep up with the daily demand even on the busiest days. We very much appreciate the tolerance and understanding that most people showed as the team struggled to keep up. Thank you for your support!
