For weeks people have been asking when they will be able to come and camp. Some very patient folks have been making reservations and resolutely moving them forward as we waited for the government to reopen short-term camping. Well that day has finally arrived!! The June 26th to July 1st volleyball tournament is becoming a badminton tournament. Team sports are out under the circumstances. And, according to study commissioned by the Italian Olympic Committee and conducted by the Polytechnic of Turin, volleyball is the most dangerous sport in terms of risk of COVID-19 contagion. So we are adapting to single player sports and badminton seems like a fun alternative. We will organize play over 6 courts. When the weather is right, outdoor is always the best place to do Yoga at Bare Oaks. Normally when it is cold or rainy, we move indoors. But under the current circumstances, that is not allowed. So we're announcing Yoga with Nikki Online! If the weather is good, it will happen simultaneously with the live version which means that those who can't visit the park will still be able to participate. Clothing-free yoga returns starting this Saturday June 6th and every Saturday from 11am - noon until September 26th. Both novices and veterans are welcome. Given the current regulations under Ontario's emergency order, Yoga will only happen outside. There's no minimum attendance so, if only one person shows up, it's happening. $10 per person. Yoga mat rentals are available. Just bring yourself.
