While things are much quieter at Bare Oaks in the winter, we are still open almost every day. Hot tub, sauna, billiards, table tennis, darts, or just hanging out by the fireplace may seem like the obvious activities. But the outdoors are beautiful in the winter too! In the spring, a new business started in Mount Albert, just a few kilometres from Bare Oaks: The Rail Yard Wake Park  It features wake boarding behind a cable line. No boats or motors – just a strong, fast, smooth and quiet pull from a cable line. The new mini-golf is now open! Everyone is welcome to play.  Putters and golf balls are available in the office. This was not a Bare Oaks undertaking. Rather, it is the fulfillment of 3 years of dedication and perseverance by several Bare Oaks members who wanted to create a project that would enhance their park.
