The new WiFi system is working very well – where it is working. Unfortunately some of the equipment did not work when installed and needs to be replaced. New equipment was configured and shipped. Today, we are allowed to enter Stage 3 Reopening. That means: All sports activities are now allowed as long as they don’t include “Prolonged or deliberate contact while playing sports.” That means that Volleyball is back! The Bare Bistro‘s indoor dining room is now open, The playground is now open. All indoor spaces are now open but saunas remain closed by government order. For many years, our internet service was so slow that if more than a dozen people were using it at the same time, it became difficult just to load a simple web page. Then for 2018 we finally managed to get decent high speed by way of a dedicated wireless connection. Suddenly it was possible for many people to watch streaming video at the same time! We have been struggling for several weeks to repair a major leak under the hot tub. The biggest problem has been accessing the area in order to do the repair. After many calls, one company finally showed up and thought we wanted the hot tub completely removed.
